AntipodeanSF, the Australian-based speculative fiction webzine, has just published its May 2016 issue, #214. My epic poem, HROEREKR, was included in this issue. You can read it here.
The picture is of an old Nordic symbol known as "The Helm of Awe". Supposedly it imbues the wearer with invincibility, and according to the old Norse collection of poems, The Poetic Edda, the ancient dragon Fafnir was protected from harm using this symbol. One of Hroerekr's traits, according to my poem, was a type of invulnerability. Perhaps the armor he was given was also protected with this symbol.
